Sunday morning sunshine and stitching

I got up at 8:30 this morning, let the puppies out and settled in for a nice, hot cup of coffee, toast and catching up on e-mails. It's nice and quiet and I just love it.

I should be up and about doing housework and preparing for our up and coming trip. We are taking a 7 day cruise to Alaska followed by a 5 day rail tour. I can't wait! We hare hoping to see whales on this trip.

I have recently found alot of great buys at my local thrift shop. I found some great buys on really nice frames. I will post a pic soon.

That is all for today,
have a blessed day,
Debbie

Tuesday

Today I was given strict orders to sit back with my leg elevated with an ice pack. That has seemed to help alot. Got a good nap and some internet work done.
DD spent the night last night and made homemade chicken salad. Yes, she baked the chicken breasts in the oven and all!! She is soo much more woman than I am! This was after she worked all day. She put in some celery, onions, eggs and mayo. Yummy, it was delish! Thanks honey.
The puppies have been much better toay. Yesterday it seemed like they were peeing and pooping all over everything every time I turned around. They nearly drove me nuts. Today has been much calmer. I am taking them out more regular and soo far, ((knock on wood)) we haven't had any accidents.
Take care, thanks for stopping by,
Debbie

Well, I haven't posted in awhile it looks like. I guess that is what a new job will do to you. Time seems to just slip away and before you know it another year has come and gone.

I had a scope on my knee saturday morning and so it has slowed me down so I am sitting on the couch surfing the internet and came to a spot where I was reading someones blog. It was really interesting and one led to another and then another so I decided to follow some of these. It has served to be quite an adventure as I have never done this before so there is a learning process to it I am finding out, beside the fact that I am loopy on pain medicine, lol!

We have adopted 2 Boston Terrier puppies from my BIL and SIL. They are These babies are precious and have very distinct personalities that I have decided take after my husband and I. LOL. They are sisters and are just as different as day and night. They have worn themselves out in this picture and are passed out in their bed. They are in the process of housetraining which is a success about half the time.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by for a visit. I am truly enjoying visiting other peoples blogs myself so for now, ta ta!
